Анотація
Численні дослідження структури давньоєврейського паралельного вірша виявляють все більше спільності у розумінні природи біблійного віршування як синтаксично орієнтованого, тобто такого, яке прив’язане до певних синтаксичних структур. Ця стаття присвячена аналізу праць, що розглядають основи давньоєврейської версифікації, також обговорюється зв’язок віршового ритму iз синтаксичними моделями вірша та використання фонетичних засобів – рими (квазірими), асонансів, алітерацій та акровіршів.
