Abstract

The work aims to reveal the deep relationship between the social and historical factors and development of the literature of the Crimean Tatar diaspora in Romania at late XIX – the first half of XX century. The study found that the literature of the Crimean Tatars of Dobrudja is closely linked to the historical events of the time: the forced emigration, the aspiration to return to Crimea its former greatness, the events of the World War I, the revolution in the Russian Empire and the subsequent events that directly influenced the development of the literature of Crimean Tatars living in Romania.
