Abstract
The article is devoted to the fragment of the 17th century Ottoman chronicle “Tarih-e Kamaniche” which attracted the attention of Turkish scholars a few years ago and was transliterated by Latin letters. The reader is offered Ukrainian translation of the fragment from Ottoman Turkish language and the interpretation of its most important places concerning Ukrainian history. Hitherto the chronicle “Tarih-e Kamaniche” was not widely represented nor in the works of European, nor Turkish historians of the previous centuries.
