Abstract

This paper describes the specifics of the language, social and cultural situation in Israel. The author examines the sociolinguistic analysis from the perspective of language change priorities of new immigrants in Israel at different periods of development of the state. Particular attention is paid to the structure of the Russian language in the linguistic stratification of languages in Israel.
