Abstract
This article explores specific structural and compositional features of Naguib Mahfouz’s novel “Wedding Song” (“Afrah al-qubba”), highlights the value of the work in the context of contemporary literature of Egypt. The article also actualizes critical polemics around the novel in modern Ukrainian studies.
