“ЗАХОПЛЕННЯ” КІЛІКІЇ СЕЛЕВКОМ І: ПЕРЕГЛЯД ДАТУВАННЯ

Анотація
Автор цієї статті пропонує переглянути загальноприйняте датування переходу Кілікії (області на південному узбережжі Малої Азії) від сина Антігона Монофтальма, Деметрія Поліоркета, котрий захопив її на початку 290-х років до Р. Х., під владу засновника династії Селевкідів, Селевка I Нікатора. У сучасній історіографії побутує загальноприйняте твердження, згідно з яким Селевк Нікатор відібрав Кілікію в Деметрія Поліоркета у 295/294 році до Р. Х. Останнім часом на користь цієї точки зору висловились Г. Хельбль, Дж. Грейнджер, С. В. Смирнов, Б. ван Оппен де Рюйтер, Т. Роус, І. Краллі та деякі інші дослідники. Проте цю точку зору, з огляду на відсутність будь-якої джерельної верифікації, слід розцінювати як історіографічний міф. На мій погляд, Кілікія, свого часу відібрана сином Антігона Монофтальма у власного шурина, Плейстарха (Plut. Demetr. 20, 31–32), опинилася у складі держави Селевкідів під час V війни діадохів (288–285 роки до Р. Х.), а саме в період між втратою Деметрієм Македонії (288/287 рік до Р. Х.) і початком його малоазійської кампанії (286/285 рік до Р. Х.). На користь зазначеного припущення можна навести такі аргументи: 1) перша згадка про належність Кілікії Селевкові відноситься до зими 286/285 року до Р. Х. (Plut. Demetr. 47; Georg. Sync. Chron. ed. A. Mosshammer, 321, 329); 2) об’єд-нання Селевка зі своїми потенційними противниками, Птолемеєм і Лісімахом, напередодні V війни діадохів (Just. XVI. 2; Oros. III. 23. 53) свідчить про бажання Нікатора розширити власні володіння, що на той момент він міг зробити лише за рахунок Кілікії; 3) визнання Деметрієм зимою 286/285 року до Р. Х. прав Селевка на володіння зазначеною областю (Plut. Demetr. 47) у сукупності з пасивністю, виявленою останнім під час війни, свідчить про те, що Поліоркет перед цим добровільно відмовився від Кілікії на користь Нікатора.
