Анотація
Стаття розглядає процес і особливості входження гімалайського князівства Мустанг до складу єдиного Непальського королівства в кінці XVIII – на початку XIX століття. На основі документів аналізуються соціально-політичне становище в князівстві, його історія від зародження держави Ло (Мустанг) і династії Дордже Біста в XIV столітті і до 1780-х рр., коли князівство опинилося під впливом Катманду, а також система відносин між королем Непалу і князем Мустангу, встановлена в 1788–1790 роках. Проводяться паралелі також з деякими іншими васальними державами регіону. Окрім того, стаття містить опис соціально-політичної системи залежних від князя Мустангу державних утворень (“князівств-данників”). Особливу увагу приділено соціокультурному і соціально-політичному аспекту розвитку князівства Мустанг у сучасний період.
