Word and Phraseological Potential of Sacral Names Adam and Eve in the Turkish Linguistic Culture

Abstract: 

The research is devoted to the impact of the Turkish folk’s sacred life on the formation of secular nominations in the Turkish language world vision. Sacral names Adam and Eve, their ability to acquire figurative meanings and form phraseological units and proverb complexes are reviewed. Many units, which became the object of this study, are not fixed by the dictionaries and are the result of the comprehensive analysis of texts of different styles and direct communication between the author and the speakers of the modern Turkish language.
